When you launch SAS Management Console on a client, the SAS Enterprise Miner plug-in might not be displayed. The plug-in is not displayed if it is not installed. You can get the plug-in with only a SAS Enterprise Miner client/server deployment.

Complete the following steps to install the SAS Enterprise Miner plug-in. Make sure that there are no SAS processes running on your client machine when you perform this install.

1. From the client machine where you have SAS Management Console installed, navigate to the installed SAS Software Depot.
2. From the SAS Software Depot, right-click setup.exe and select Run as Administrator to launch SAS^® Deployment Wizard.
3. Choose Install SAS Software.
4. On the next screen, specify SAS Home. Specify the existing location of your SAS Home.
5. On the Select Deployment Type screen, select Install SAS Foundation and related software.
6. On the next screen, select SAS Configuration Manager and SAS Enterprise Miner Plug-in for SAS Management Console.
7. Click through the remaining screens with correct selections. After the installation completes successfully, launch SAS Management Console to verify that the SAS Enterprise Miner plug-in is installed.
