When applying Hot Fix J9VXXX for SAS® Environment Manager version 2.5_M4, an issue might occur during the Install Post Processing step in either Windows or UNIX environments. The below errors might occur in the sasevM7_jarfix_ddMmmyyyy.xxxxxx.log file:

The following workaround should resolve this issue: 

1. Place the hot fix file in <SASHOME>/InstallMisc/HotFixes/New.
2. Launch SAS® Deployment Manager with the -reinstallhotfix and -alwaysoverwrite options.
   1. In UNIX environments: ./sasdm.sh -reinstallhotfix -alwaysoverwrite
   2. In a Windows Command Prompt: sasdm.exe -reinstallhotfix -alwaysoverwrite
3. Go through the prompts to apply the hot fix.
