Sometimes, a file is both an input and an output to a job. In these scenarios, after the job has executed successfully, the following should be true:
However, you might encounter an issue where the version number for the file on both the input tab and output tab is the new incremented version number. This issue occurs when the job fails due to check-in errors, and you perform a “retry-check-in” action.
In this scenario, the new file size is displayed on both tabs as well.
To ensure the integrity of the manifest, do not use “retry-check-in” for jobs where a file serves as both an input and an output. In cases where a file is defined as both input and output to a job, SAS recommends that you resubmit/execute the job.
A fix will be considered for a future release of the software.
