Register, login, and maintain profile information in the SAS Customer Service Portal


This knowledge article explains how to register, login, and manage your profile within the SAS Customer Service Portal, which is accessible at service.sas.com. To learn more about other customer portal functionalities, see the following topics:

Register

If you already created a SAS Profile to access the SAS Communities, My SAS, or SAS Support, you can access the SAS Customer Service Portal using the same credentials.

To create a new account from the SAS Customer Service Portal, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the Log In button located in the top right of the navigation menu. A Sign In screen opens.

  2. Click the blue Create Profile button to open the SAS Profile page.

  3. Complete all the required fields and click Create Profile.

  4. Check your email inbox. You should receive an email requesting that you activate your registration. Click the link in the email to activate your SAS Profile.

Log In

To log in, complete these steps:

  1. From the SAS Customer Service Portal, click the Log In button located in the top right of the navigation menu. A Sign In screen appears.

  2. Enter your user name (the email address associated with your SAS Profile) and password.

  3. Click the blue Next button. You are redirected to the Customer Service Portal home page.

  4. Verify that you are signed in by looking at the top right of the window. Your name should be displayed where the Log In button was previously displayed.

Your Profile

Once logged in to the customer portal, you can access your user profile from any page of the portal by clicking on your name in the top right corner of the window and selecting Profile.

On the User Profile page, you can adjust certain profile details for each section listed in the order presented on the page:

You can adjust the following fields by clicking the existing value. If you have not set a value, click None.

User Preferences

Toggle to enable or disable the following settings. If you adjust one of these settings, the Refresh to see changes button occurs, which enables you to refresh the page so that the changes take effect.
