Beginning with SAS Add-In 7.1 for Microsoft Office, you can enable logging with a simple option.

To enable logging, select SAS ► Tools ► Options. Select Advanced in the left side of the window. Scroll to the bottom of the window and select the Enable Logging check box. Make note of the location of the Log folder.

If you cannot start Microsoft Office or open the options window, then follow the steps listed in SAS Note 45866 to turn on logging manually.
