For problems with indexing that you encounter when you run the updateindex script in SAS Risk Governance Framework, follow these steps to enable debugging:
- Create a backup copy of the updateindex.config file that resides in SAS-configuration-directory/LevN/Applications/SASRiskGovernanceFrameworkAdministrativeTools/dbscripts.
2. Then, edit the original updateindex.config file, as follows:
log4j.appender.LOGFILE.MaxFileSize=25MB
3. Save the updateindex.config file.
4. Rerun the updateindex script again to re-create the error and to collect the following files:

- the console output that is generated when you run the script
- the monitor.log file that resides in the SAS-configuration-directory/LevN/Applications/SASRiskGovernanceFrameworkAdministrativeTools/dbscripts
- the Solr log files that reside in Solr-installation-directory/server/logs/* (zip the log files into a compressed directory)
- the managed-schema file that resides in Solr-installation-directory/server/solr/rgf/conf
- the solrconfig.xml file that resides in Solr-installation-directory/server/solr/rgf/conf
Gather the files that are listed above and send them to Technical Support for further troubleshooting.
