For security reasons, SAS limits access to Cloud resources using allowed IP Addresses (that is, a range of allowed or denied). In addition, public access is not recommended. For detailed information, see End-User Access to Workbenches.

The most common reason for these access errors is that the Source IP is not on the Allowlist.

Note: If you think that the issue is related to the IP Allowlist, include that information.

Discover the Source IP

The Source IP is the address of the device or network that originated the request. (In this scenario, the address comes from the person using the SAS front end to SAS Viya Workbench.)

Ask your network administrator, or search the internet for "What is my IP" to check the IP Address generating the request.
